Left+Right LED Headlights DRL Assembly for Mercedes Benz E-Class W212 2014-2016
Upgrade your Mercedes-Benz E-Class W212 with these premium LED projector headlights featuring Daytime Running Lights (DRL) for enhanced style, visibility, and performance.
Suitable for:
For Mercedes E-Class W212 Sedan 2014-2016 (Please re-use factory module)
For pre-facelift W212 2010-2013, it requires to upgrade the front bumper to fit.
Compatible with vehicles without AFS only
PLEASE NOTE:
This headlight assembly does not support the Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS).
This means the headlights will not swivel or adjust automatically when turning corners. They will still function as standard headlights, but the AFS feature will not be available.
This happens because your vehicle’s computer system is programmed for the original factory headlights. The new LED headlights have different electrical characteristics, which the system may interpret as a “fault.”
- Install the new headlights.
- Check if any warning messages appear on the dashboard.
- Have a professional mechanic or auto electrician read the error codes.
- Program or code the vehicle’s computer to ignore these specific warnings.
Technical details:
Lens color: clear
Housing color: black
Light function: DRL, turn signal
Direct replacement
Instruction is not included
Professional installation is highly recommended
Content of Delivery:
1 pair of LED headlights / left+right
To check if your Mercedes W212 (2010-2016) has Active Lighting:
1️⃣ Check COMAND Settings – Look for "Active Light System" or "Intelligent Light System (ILS)" under Vehicle Settings.
2️⃣ Look for AFS Button – Some models have an AFS ON/OFF switch near the headlight controls.
3️⃣ Test Headlight Movement – Park in front of a wall, turn the wheel left/right. If headlights move, you have Active Lighting.
4️⃣ Scan with OBD2 – A Mercedes-compatible scanner can confirm if ALS/ILS is installed.
5️⃣ Check VIN or Build Sheet – Use a VIN decoder or ask a dealer to verify.
No movement or settings? Your W212 likely doesn’t have Active Lighting.
